DBS Quality Assurance, Enhancement, and Technology Alignment Committee (DQAETAC)
The DBS Quality Assurance, Enhancement, and Technology Alignment Committee (DQAETAC) plays a crucial role in upholding high standards of academic excellence. DQAETAC is tasked with promoting a culture of excellence that reflects the quality excellence policy in line with the mission statement. The committee ensures that the policies are followed and the outcomes are gained in the form of excellence for the students and faculty members.
Responsibilities and Functions of DQAETAC
– The DQAETAC is responsible for formulating adjustments to existing policies.
– They are responsible for their implementation, and delivering these recommendations to the President.
– They ensure that all policy changes are thoroughly vetted and aligned with Dunster Business School’s goals.
– DQAETAC is responsible for reviewing student feedback gathered through monitoring and periodic surveys.
– Student and faculty representatives are invited to join DQAETAC meetings.
– The surveys conducted by the DQAETAC provide both students and faculty members the opportunity to make recommendations, ensuring their voices are heard and considered in policy-making.

DQAETAC Governance
Dunster Business School’s official quality assurance policy defines the structure of DBS. Every school under Dunster Business School has the autonomy to admit qualifying faculty and students while being equally governed by the main institute, which defines and enforces standards to qualify for admissions, teaching, and the curriculum.
The quality assurance policy and the practices are applied equally to all members of DBS, and all the faculty members are equal members of the Faculty Council, of which DQAETAC is a subcommittee.
The DQAETAC plays a critical role in ensuring that the quality assurance policy is accurately encoded in the Accreditation Management System. This ensures that the institute’s high standards are consistently met and enhanced.
Committee Composition and meetings
– DQAETAC is responsible for monitoring and improving quality across the institute.
– The Committee is composed of the President, the Dean, Faculty Representatives, and the Advisor for Equality and Diversity, appointed by the President.
– The recommendations from the Committee are directly passed to the President.
– The committee holds regular meetings twice per year and extraordinary meetings once per month, at the discretion of the chairman of the meeting.
